Really Simple Syndication (RSS) Feeds
This is something of an experiment. Up to now there don't seem to be many feeds available which are relevant to our Society. Perhaps this is no surprise when we start imagining which provider-sites and what information we would like in live feeds. Most of that information is probably on subscription sites and behind passwords. However, BBC NEWS does allow the creation of custom feeds using unique search terms. Our homepage has one for “Crimean War”, and there are two more here: “Florence Nightingale” and “Mary Seacole”. The other two feeds are from the United Kingdom National Archives and may prove useful, or maybe not so.   If anyone comes across a feed that they think would be useful, please contact the webmaster.
